Recently, our sister site the video sharing mothership Mpora, re-launched with some brand new Facebook-style features, including a rather stylish wall that people can post on. To celebrate this re-launch (and the creation of the Whitelines Mpora profile), we’ve hooked up with Sony Creative to offer some awesome prizes: We’ve got two of Sony’s professional-standard Vegas Pro 9 software packages to give away – each of which is worth £500!
The program basically a comprehensive, fully functional editing suite, enabling you to produce professional quality movies from your home PC. It’s completely compatible with pretty much every video format out there, including footage from the snowboard industry standard Sony XD Cams and the brand new RED Cams that everyone in snowboarding (and the wider film and TV industry) is raving about at the minute.
Two lucky runners-up will receive copies of the equally cool (but easier to use) Sony Vegas Movie Studio. This program enables you to edit digital camera footage on an easy-to-use timeline, as well as add titles and effects. It also makes burning your masterpiece onto DVD or uploading it onto sites like Mpora stupidly easy.
So what, you may well ask, do you have to do to get your hands on one of these awesome prizes? Well, it’s easy. Remember how we said Mpora now has a facebook-style wall feature? We want you to head over to the Whitelines Mpora profile, (which you can find here) add us as a friend (like you would on Facebook) and post something on our wall.
It can be a link to a photo, a video, a news story, or whatever, and it doesn’t have to be original, or your own work. In fact, you can even grab a video off whitelines.com if you like it! The only rule is it has to have something to do with snowboarding. You can post as many links as you want, and in fact if you keep posting it’ll probably increase your chances of winning. On April 15th we will choose our favourite posts/photos/links/videos as winners…
So what are you waiting for? Go on and surf that interweb. Bring us your random snowboard-related musings and your favourite old school video parts. Give us your poor clips, your tired snowboard stories, and your huddled photos longing to be free… who knows, we may even post your creations or finds on our website. So get out there and get posting people!
(Oh, and you’re posting them here, NOT on the comments section below pleeeeease :-)
