To tie in with our article on the awesomeness of freeriding this month, we’ve devised a devilishly cunning competition to win a brand new Arbor Powder Stick. In the spirit of the old ‘spot the ball’ competitions from the newspapers, we’ve cleverly erased this rider’s line from Haines, Alaska – and we want YOU to fill it in.
If you look closely just left of centre, you’ll see the snowboarder (Bimba Bernasconi – no relation to Silvio) sending up a tasty plume of powder. The question is, where has he come from? Download the image here and draw the route you think he’s taken down this gnarly face. The person who gets closest to his actual line will win this brand new Arbor A Frame board. With it’s stiff, responsive flex and it’s surf-inspired graphics, this stick is perfect for the kind of balls-out backcountry riding that Mr Bernasconi is demonstrating here.
