Can YOU Cut It? 2011 – Vote for the Absinthe/Whitelines Editing Comp Winner

It’s been a long time coming, but the final stage of the Can YOU Cut it? Absinthe/Whitelines 2010-11 Editing Competition is here. The response to this year’s competition was insane, with nearly 150 people taking the time to edit and upload an alternative teaser to Absinthe’s latest opus, Now/Here. Once again, the standard was impressively high, with people obviously putting a lot of thought, time and effort into their entries. As such, it took a while to whittle down the entries and choose the five finalists, but Absinthe’s Brusti has now done just that. He said:

This definitely took more time than expected but it’s cool to see what everybody puts into it. Stoked that people are into it and create something new out of it with their own feel. I loved to see them all and find it amazing how much effort each one of you has invested. Again like last year I’d like to show our appreciation to you guys for entering.

With Brusti having done the difficult job of ranking his five favourite entries, the competition to find the overall winner will now be thrown open to a public vote – and the most popular one will be included as an extra on Absinthe’s forthcoming DVD!
