Jamie Nicholls' US Open Slopestyle Finals run

10:38AM Thu, 7th March 2013

Jamie Nicholls just dropped this on his blog – footage of his second (and highest scoring) run from the US Open Slopestyle Finals last week.

Just by getting into the finals, Jamie had achieved something that no other British male had done before.

But by putting down this frickin sick run, he went a step further putting himself in the top 5 above such illustrious names as Eric Willet, Sage Kotsenberg and Stale Sandbech. Get in our kid!

Understandably, he was pretty stoked. His comment under this video is typically enthusiastic:

One of the best comps I ever went to. Love vail and the US Open!

This is the first time many people will have seen this, as different TV distribution deals meant that while the semi-finals were live-cast on Red Bull TV, the finals weren’t. And while we knew his tricks already, there’s something pretty cool about actually seeing them put down eh?

Having headed up the team in charge of the Whitelines Buyers' Guide for the past four seasons knows more about the geeky side of snowboard kit than anyone should ever have to know.
