O'Neill Launches Headphone Line

02:43PM Wed, 17th November 2010

Headphones seem to be the thing to be making right now if you’re a snowboard brand – hot on the heels of Danny Davis and Frends’ new line of audio-ear-muffs comes these beauties from O’Neill. Rather than go it alone, the surf and snow brand decided to hook up with the experts at Phillips to produce their range, meaning that the sound and build quality is basically top drawer. They then gave the phones to their team riders, who include big mountain Jeremy Jones and Seb Toots, and asked them to test ‘em to breaking point before putting them out there for the public to buy. All of which means that they’re actually pretty good! Keep an ear out (chortle chortle) for them in the headphones test in the forthcoming issue of Whitelines. And head over to O’Neill.com to see the full range for yourself.

Tristan Kennedy

Tristan first stepped on a snowboard at the age of 12, and (despite being a bit rubbish) has made a point of riding as often as possible since. He joined Whitelines in 2009, and writes, shoots, films and edits for both the magazine and the website. Having headed up the team in charge of the Whitelines Buyers' Guide for the past four seasons knows more about the geeky side of snowboard kit than anyone should ever have to know.
