Over the past few days, several of the UK’s indoor slopes have been blessed with a sprinkling of A-list stardust as Capita riders Scott Stevens and Jess Kimura (aka Atcha Boi and Danger Pony) toured the UK. They took in Tamworth and Hemel Hempstead last week, before stopping at the Ski & Snowboard Show over the weekend to do a spot of coaching. Accompanied by several members of the UK Capita team (including Jordy Gee, Rio Peterson and Calum Paton) the two headed off up back north on Monday to visit Manchester and Braehead.

As anyone who reads this website regularly will know, the crew here at Whitelines are massive fans of Scott’s riding in particular. In fact, ‘massive fans’ is probably a bit of an understatement – if we had our way, the man would already have been knighted for services to snowboarding. So we were pretty stoked to head up to Hemel to meet and interview Scott and Jess (or should that be Sir Scott of Stevens and Lady Danger Pony?) on Friday night. Keep your eyes peeled for the edits dropping soon, and for the shots of the tour coming up in the magazine!

Tristan first stepped on a snowboard at the age of 12, and (despite being a bit rubbish) has made a point of riding as often as possible since. He joined Whitelines in 2009, and writes, shoots, films and edits for both the magazine and the website. Having headed up the team in charge of the Whitelines Buyers' Guide for the past four seasons knows more about the geeky side of snowboard kit than anyone should ever have to know.
