X-Games 2012 - rider list now online

Winter X Games 2012 is only a couple of weeks away, so here’s the first look at the list of  riders who’ve been summoned to Aspen.

Will Jenny bag another gold in 2012?

Nothing too surprising in the halfpipe lineup – Shaun White, Louie Vito, Kazuhiro Kokubo, Torah Bright, Kelly Clark and Hannah Teter will all be in attendance with an eye on adding to their already stacked trophy cabinets.

Slopestyle will no doubt be crazier than ever this year – three triple-corkers in Seb Toots, Mark McMorris, Torstein Horgmo, as well as the likes of Cheryl Maas, Jamie Anderson, Eric Willett and Sage Kotsenburg.

Representing for the UK will be X-Games legend Jenny Jones, gunning for yet another gold, and boardercross rider Zoe Gillings. Speaking of boardercross, snowboard legend Shaun Palmer will be taking on all comers in the mens’ event – at the ripe old age of 46! Given that no-one could touch him in his prime, only a fool would write him off.
