Last women standing - Lesley & co give the 'gorms a final blast

With the last drops of the season officially squeezed, Cairngorm is shutting up shop for the summer. They organised quite a send-off, though, shifting the little snow that survived last week’s heatwave into a decent run – complete with rail-line and slopeside DJ. Among those getting their last fix on Saturday was Lesley Mckenna, seen here sessioning the Ptarmigan’s last remaining jump.

On the bright side, it's easier than breaking tracks up a pow field

The hit held up surprisingly well given the baking heat and, thanks to the combination of a retro 90s theme and classic end-of-season pissing about, there were plenty of methods to be had from the girls. Take heed for next year – at Cairngorm, it ain’t over til it’s over. Hats off to the mountain staff for giving us a cracking last day.

From this angle Lesley could be anywhere - but she's not just anywhere
