We’ve just been sent a press release from Arnette Eyewear and seeing as the sun’s shining and it’s nice and toasty out we thought we’d share it with you. Now we’re sure the sunnies are pretty good and all (think lightweight metal-alloy wire frame and crystal clear APX lenses), but how’s that for a product shot? Certainly makes a change from the super dull ‘hovering in white space’ shot or seeing them on some random pro’s brooding/grinning mug. And what is it with eyewear being named after meat? Perhaps using imagery of sizzling, mouth-watering, smoked (or unsmoked, if you prefer) pig is just too powerful as an advertising tool not to use! Is it lunchtime yet?
