The 2013 Burton Family Tree Snowboards

When Burton dropped their new teaser earlier this week, they also re-launched their website with a redesigned news and video section. Tucked away in there was this little gem, which takes us through their brand new powder specific ‘Family Tree’ snowboard line for 2013.

We’ll let the video do the talking but all you really need to know is that these are powder boards through and through, influenced by classics from Burton’s extensive history and designed with input from legends like Terje Haakonsen and Stephan Maurer. The video itself is also an interesting watch, for the rider opinions and footage if nothing else (there’s a clip of Stephan Maurer doing a double backflip on a Fish tucked away in here!). These boards look pretty rad though – if you happen to be incredibly optimistic about the generosity of mother nature and have a few hundred quid lying around…
