Travis Rice stars in genius new hOme watches commercial

To celebrate the arrival of international snowboard superstar Travis Rice on the hOme watches team, the Swiss company have enlisted the talents of Martin Luchsinger of Yeahh Productions (the same fella responsible for this trippy ad with Nico Müller) to produce this brilliant two minute commercial featuring T-Rice himself, a Ferrari, a Swiss mansion and a real life butler. Confused? We were too when we saw the opening shot of Travis, surrounded by bubbles and cleaning out his ear with a cotton bud.

Although it may seem a tad serious on the outset, there’s plenty of humour tucked away in this one but we’ll let you watch it and form your own opinions. The whole thing actually reminded us of a lighthearted version of that new diabolical Brad Pitt Chanel ad, complete with that dreamy stare down the barrel of the camera lens and ever so subtle, gag-reflex inducing pout. We’ve got a lot of time for big pro riders like Travis who are able to not take themselves too seriously.

Props to hOme watches for this ad, it certainly held our attention, made us chuckle and had us drooling over their fine Swiss-engineered timepieces. Seriously, how beautiful does that thing look?
