Snowboarders and skiers in epic fight to the death!

The on-going battle between skiers and snowboarders has been a long and arduous one. Who has more steez? Who gets with more of the opposite sex? Which is more difficult? The topics and scale of debate in the lift lines, on the piste and in the seasonnaire slums has been colourful at best and aggressive at worst but thankfully, other than the inevitable Jaeger-fuelled scrap, it’s never come to an actual full-blown violent clash. At least we don’t think it has. Yet.

Whistler based apparel company Voluerz have been embracing both skiing and snowboarding since they started making threads and movies but in the trailer for their new flick ‘Kill Your Boredom’ they enact a full-on blockbuster style skirmish, complete with movie voiceovers, a dramatic score and some graphic kills. It’s a creative piss-take (in a similar vein to their fantastic Art of Flight spoof) on the timeless feud between the two main snow sliding clans (yep, the snowbladers would be annihilated in seconds by the combined malice of both) and quite frankly, it’s totally awesome.

It does look like the skiers have more formidable weapons though, what with their heavy ass boots and pointy poles. Better get that edge sharpening tool out…
