Amplid Ambush Academy Snowboarders 12/13

After a lengthy audition process that seems a bit like the X Factor on snow, Amplid have chosen their new academy riders for the 2012/13 season. Watch the video for yourself to see who made the cut, although suffice to say that we’re pretty stoked that Charlie Rowland from the UK made it to the line up alongside 8 Americans and 8 other Europeans.

So apparently here’s where the fun begins. Over the next five months the Academy team will be set five challenges by the International Cartel team, and set off to wherever they’re headed to film with GoPros to capture every moment. Sounds good to us…
