Beyond Medals: Kevin Backström breaks his ankle

Here’s the second episode from Kevin Backström/Tor Lundström’s web series Beyond Medals.

Snowboarding is a dangerous sport kids and shit happens sometimes. Kevin Backström was having a perfectly normal day filming, trying to get his trick when he didn’t quite make the transfer he was going for and slammed hard into the rail, breaking his ankle. In passing, did this remind anyone else of Tanner Hall’s infamous ankle break on Chad’s Gap? Although, we guess there are only so many ways that you can say that your ankle is broken…

Bad times for Kevin though and we wish him a full and speedy recovery!
