Bossing Aberdeen with the Trinders and Matt McCormick
Jamie Trinder sent us this wee edit of himself, his brother Angus and Matt McCormick getting some practice laps in up at Aberdeen dryslope in preparation for the Scottish University Dryslope champs that went down this past Saturday. We haven’t seen any footage from the event itself just yet but from what we can gather, the extra practice certainly payed off for Matt, with him walking away with a first place finish, followed by his older brother Danny. Jamie and Angus weren’t quite as fortunate, placing seventh and tenth respectively. If only we’d been able to post this edit on Friday, rather than sitting in a car headed up North for the Castleford leg of our November Knockout tour (which went off by the way) - it might have struck so much fear into the hearts of their competitors that they may have not bothered showing up in the first place ;) Impressive riding as always from the three GB Junior Team riders.
If you want to follow what the Trinders get up to on their snowboard adventures, be sure to check out their blog or athlete page on Facebook.

BEARSDEN is looking kinda like Aberdeen these days ?
Haha, thanks for pointing out! Not quite sure why I just assumed it was Bearsden despite it saying Aberdeen so clearly on the vid… They do look quite similar though – especially to someone who’s only ever ridden at Hillend in Scotland!
Yeah they are very similar ! Hillend is a death trap !
