The latest episode of Brothers on the Run has arrived and boy oh boy what an episode it is.
After a spot of Alaskan surfing in the last episode it’s back to the big mountains and powder for one last winter hoo-ha before the Northern hemisphere spring properly sets in. This time Eric and John Jackson are joined by legendary Forum rider Pat Moore and take it back to the roots with a spot of mountaineering and glacier camping. No helicopters or snowmobiles this time around – the guys have to earn their turns one step at a time.
Luckily for us, and John Jackson who appears to have finally recovered from his back injury, a spot of bad weather that could have cut the trip short ends up blowing through more quickly than expected leaving the guys a perfect last day to send it. Pat Moore perhaps summarises it best:
It had just snowed and there was a light dusting all over everything so we just kinda rallied, got on the jump and just started sending it!
And send it they do, with all three riders stomping massive double corks amongst a ton of other tricks. What a session, and what a perfect way to end the Northern hemisphere winter season. Next episode will see the guys cross the border into Canada, hook up with big mountain Jeremy Jones in Nelson, BC and get a few more cheeky laps in – so much for winter being done and dusted then!
