DC Shred Days 2012 - International snowboard team hit Meribel

03:54PM Tue, 3rd April 2012

Spring is definitely in the air right now, and for the snowboard world, that means it’s time to host some sunny gatherings in the mountains. We’ve had the British Champs of course, the Vans Wangl Tangl and the infamous Grenade Games… Now it’s the turn of DC Snowboards. The DC Shred Days is a laid-back event for friends and locals to shred with the international team here in Euroland. This year it took place in Meribel, where DC have signed a multi-year sponsorship deal with the resort’s park. And we have to say, it’s probably the best park we’ve ever seen in France, featuring some truly whoppercock kickers and a load of creative jib lines. Aaron Biitner, Lauri Heiskari, Ryan Tiene, Torstein Horgmo and Devun Walsh were all lapping it up, the BBQ was lit, some crap French sausages were thrown on in (when we they learn how to make a decent banger?!) and good times were had by all. Which was really all there was to it. No contest, no prizes, just a fun shred. For like, days.
