Flying Finn kind of rolls off the tongue doesn’t it? That’s what they used to call Mikka Hakkinen back in the day, and Kimi Raikonnen, and that dude who went and won all the rally races… oh no, hang on, that was Kimi Raikonnen as well. Anyway, it’s no surprise that this Finnish snowboard crew have claimed the moniker for themselves cos it sounds so, well, cool really doesn’t it? Specially when you stick a cheesy Top Gun style intro on your videos like they have here. You may not have heard of all of this crew before (
Ville Uotila, Matti Kinnunen, Jaako Ruha, Markus Malin and
Janne Korpi), but you’ve probably seen their name on podiums. They’re the sort who’ll turn up at TTR contests, wipe the floor and then leave again without you ever really working out who they were. So consider this your intrduction to the Flying Finns. Enjoy.
