Get fit with Jussi Oksanen!
It’s no easy feat being a pro snowboarder. There’s the many hours lost waiting around in airports, the extreme weather to deal with on a daily basis, the stress of competition and of course all the women helplessly throwing themselves at you… And on top of all of that there’s the training. While some pros train in the mountains by hiking for months on end, others prefer to take it to the foam pits, trampolines and gyms.
Jussi Oksanen certainly knows the value in training and has shared his regime at EZIA with us in all of its slow-mo’d, sweaty glory. Focusing on exercises to improve specific aspects of his riding including (but not limited to) popping, rotating and landing, the veteran Finn shows us how much goes on behind the scenes to enable him to continue putting out parts that are sick as his closing section in this season’s Burton movie, ‘Standing Sideways’. This one’s definitely sits on the cheesier side of the fence but if these kind of exercises help you to ride like Jussi then we’re down!

Interesting way to get fit before the season begins. I just thought skate boarding was the answer? http://t.co/nPHKxTcb
