The Grenade Games has been bringing peace, love and happiness to Whistler for the past week. All sorts of crazy contests, from a pre-comp paintball fight to a parallel slalom moguls race have brought the proper piss-about spirit of snowboarding to the uber-serious Olympic venue. On Friday, however, shit looked like it was going to get a bit more serious, with the halfpipe contest finals… but of course, this is the Grenade Games, so nothing’s sacred – not even Olympic events.
