Kamchatka: How The Russians Do A Winter Jam

04:06PM Thu, 10th January 2013

Kamchatka is a pretty much as remote as you can get for a Winter Jam. Foreigners weren’t allowed to enter the region during the Soviet era, so no one really knows what the hell was going on over there. With volcanic eruptions, acid lakes and polar bears attacking city tramps, this video seems pretty tame stuff in comparison.

Still, there’s some nice kicker action later on, including a high-scoring double BS rodeo 900. You just have to watch a few guys swigging whisky, chatting Russian, beating each other and throwing around some pretty shocking dance moves to a native Russian folk anthem first.

For some serious Kamchatka pow action, check out JP Solberg riding the region last year.
