La Tournee Du Patron - full film from Hara Kiri

Don’t let the fact that this film is from a French crew put you off because it’s actually rather good. The teaser for this full length from Hara Kiri properly made us chuckle a couple of weeks back, mainly because it was filled with some genius irony and sarcasm that quite frankly, took us by surprise. Turns out the full length is just as entertaining, even if it doesn’t feature someone faceplanting off the back of a horse. Yep, we love the fact that these guys have a sense of humour and don’t take themselves too seriously and when you top it off with some top-notch riding and killer music choices, these guys are onto a real winner.

If you’re pressed for time check out JJ Roux’s opener at the 2:47 mark with it’s jangly French ditty and mix of jokey and ballsy park riding and don’t miss Nike Chosen Session Am Enzo Nilo’s take some serious slams before stomping the shit out of everything in the backcountry (from around 25:24) – all to the classic ‘Going the Distance’ from the Rocky films, of course. He may not be the cleanest rider ever to strap onto a board but when you have ‘hospital or banger. It doesn’t matter if I die’ as a motto, chances are you’ll probably get good pretty quickly. The kid’s certainly got a lot of potential.
