You’ve seen the grom, you’ve seen the winning run… well we figure we may as well go the whole hog and show you the run that grabbed third place at the Burton NZ Open. Louie Vito is a familiar face on the Whitelines site, having represented the USA at the Olympic Games in Vancouver and, more importantly, represented all of snowboarding kind by donning a catsuit for the American version of Strictly Come Dancing. It’s funny to think that just a year ago, Shaun White was stunning the scene with his newly landed double cork. These days any halfpipe rider worth his salt has got a double in the bag, while Vito here is so comfortable with the trick he’s busting out three in a row! Unfortunately for Louie, though, he’s still not getting the amplitude of some of his rivals, which is why this run proved only good enough for third.
