Matt Corry Shreds Mayrhofen

2 comments 10:11AM Mon, 4th March 2013

Young Matt Corry is a Glasgow-based shredder who’s smooth style and arsenal of technical rail tricks has seen him do well in competitions at his home dome of Braehead and on the dryslope at Bearsden.

This season he headed out to the ‘Hof, where he spent the best part of a month working on his tricks on real snow. This edit is from the first few days when heavy snow made the kickers unrideable.

But there’s still some hammers in here. Something tells us Matt Corry is one to watch. You can keep up to date with what he’s doing on his blog here.

Tristan Kennedy

Tristan first stepped on a snowboard at the age of 12, and (despite being a bit rubbish) has made a point of riding as often as possible since. He joined Whitelines in 2009, and writes, shoots, films and edits for both the magazine and the website. Having headed up the team in charge of the Whitelines Buyers' Guide for the past four seasons knows more about the geeky side of snowboard kit than anyone should ever have to know.
