Mikey Leblanc rides a wooden sled for a snowboard
Not only does Mikey Leblanc look remarkably like an elf, he also has a thing about sleighs. This classic part from the 2008 Absinthe film Optimistic sees him do a bit of festive shredding on an old school wooden sled. It’s actually insane how good he is at riding what is essentially a plank – yet more proof, following today’s video of Stephan Maurer on his Burton Fish – that it ain’t what you ride it’s the way that you ride it!
We reckon this section should become traditional Christmas viewing for every snowboarder, along with Elf, The Snowman and, er… well, it’s a toss up between Miracle on 34th Street and That’s It That’s All.
