We can’t say we’ve heard of many riders to have come out of Africa – actually, none for that matter. Until now that is.

Paul Kabugo was born and raised in Uganda until he was 15, at which point he upped and moved to Norway, discovered the wonders of sliding down snow and developed a healthy habit for an afterbang or two. Now he may not have the biggest tricks in the book or the cleanest style ever, but he does seem like one seriously rad kid. Is this Uganda’s brightest hope for a slopestyle representative at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi? Probably! We wait in anticipation…
