Road To Munich: Episode 1 - Halldor Helgason

Nike 6.0 catches up with their Finnish wonderboy Halldor Helgason as he rips up some rails and impresses the locals in preparation for Munich. The Air & Style event, held in Munich’s Olympic stadium on the 12th February, features the best riders in the industry pulling their best moves off the 40 metre high uber-kicker.

The Nike 6.0 Stairset Battle Tour also comes to a head at the event. The rail competition has been hopping around Europe, including Vallnord in Andorra and Talma, Finland. It’s amazing how Halldor’s finding all the time to practice and even compete in all these events. Since leaving DC and joining Nike 6.0, Halldor and his brother Eiki are busy setting up their new snowboard brand called Lobster Snowboards, due to be showcased at the ISPO in Germany next month. Busy busy!
