Triple Backflip! Takahiro Ishida flips out...

4 comments 09:52AM Mon, 16th July 2012

Snow might be conspicuous in its absence in the UK right now (though I’d honestly prefer it to the bleedin’ non-stop rain!) but over in Oregon it seems they’ve still got tons of the stuff. At least enough to build monster jumps of the sort that nutters like Takahiro Ishida here can try triple backflips off. This isn’t a world first. Or technically the trickiest trick. Or the best looking. But it’s still pretty damn impressive really isn’t it?

In fact, all this needs to go viral is for someone (Nick Motture?) to call it something else and post it on that angry snowboarder dude’s Facebook…

Tristan first stepped on a snowboard at the age of 12, and (despite being a bit rubbish) has made a point of riding as often as possible since. He joined Whitelines in 2009, and writes, shoots, films and edits for both the magazine and the website. Having headed up the team in charge of the Whitelines Buyers' Guide for the past four seasons knows more about the geeky side of snowboard kit than anyone should ever have to know.
