TTR World Tour - best of 2010/11

TTR have posted this video of the highlights from the 2010/2011 tour. If the X-Factor ever hit the snowboarding world, this is the kind of thing they’d make – a melange of baying crowds, drop-ins, floodlights, pristine pipes, double-corks and champagne, all set to grandiose classical music.

There’s little mention of what’s talking place where, and the action shots are all of the frustrating ‘cuts-away-before-the-landing’ type. Pity poor TTR champs Jamie Anderson and Peetu Piiroinen as well, who have to stare awkwardly at the camera to remind us that they won. Although it’s probably better than being ambushed by all the riders you beat while Dermot O’Leary looks on.

Amazingly, the 2011/12 TTR World Tour kicks off next month with the 5-Star Billabong Ante Up in Whistler. And so it begins again….
