Tyler Chorlton's Apo Video Part

07:02PM Wed, 23rd November 2011

Tyler Chorlton had a hell of a first season on Apo snowboards last year, earning up more airmiles than Richard Branson’s beard as he chased the snow around the world. As this part – taken from Apo’s team movie Don’t Miss the Train – proves, he got lucky with the conditions a lot of the time, catching some seriously deep stuff over in North America, and even squeezing in a kicker session as late as May on the Kaunertal glacier.

With his trademark stalled spins (check out the tweak on the one at 0.45) and his ever-present baggy pants, Tyler is one of the steeziest riders this country has ever produced, and parts like this make us proud to call him our own. What do you mean he grew up in Andorra? So…?

Tristan Kennedy

Tristan first stepped on a snowboard at the age of 12, and (despite being a bit rubbish) has made a point of riding as often as possible since. He joined Whitelines in 2009, and writes, shoots, films and edits for both the magazine and the website. Having headed up the team in charge of the Whitelines Buyers' Guide for the past four seasons knows more about the geeky side of snowboard kit than anyone should ever have to know.
