World's first quadruple backflip - A lesson from history

10:54AM Wed, 23rd May 2012

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: triples are nothing new. OK, so Stale Sandbech just landed this ‘world first’ but check this shit out… A balls-out, 80ft high quadruple backflip from 1974. Meh, he’s on skis – it’s still friggin’ crazy. And his prize? “A special award from the Labatts Brewery of British Columbia”. That’ll be a four-pack to share with his mates then. Legend. Tune in next year for similar bulletins at a cinema near you, and stay classy Whitelines viewers.
